TOURIST OF ATTRACTION

http://www.southtravels.com/asia/philippines/orientaltours/gif/map.gif

In 1980 Negros Oriental Island was partitioned by Royal Decree into two provinces. The settlements on the southeastern coast became Negros Oriental, the Province where the sun rises and where each Negros day begins.

In the beginning of its Province-hood, daybreak imbued Negros Oriental's landscape and waters, architectural landmarks, haunts, and its gentle people, with serenity and laid-back charms. The advancing day splashed its vivid colors on the festive occasions so vital to life in the Negros Oriental communities.

To this day, tranquility and excitement endure, twin treats characterizing the dazzling array of experiences in Sidlakang Negros, the "Sunrise Province", where in many places rugged mountains are just across a scenic highway from a shimmering sea, history rubs elbows with contemporary development, and a pocket garden or unhurried promenade would be secreted somewhere in a bustling population center.

Dayon! Negros Oriental welcomes everyone to its natural and man-made delights, the upscale or modest resorts, accommodations, shops, restaurants, mode of transportation. And the welcomes is as warm and bright as the sunrise.
